Black Film Space Manitoba

Kung Fu & Basketball Program

Presented by Iron Fist Martial Arts & Sports × Black Film Space Manitoba The Kung Fu & Basketball Program is the first-ever Dual Program of its kind in North America, blending the energy of Basketball with the discipline of Martial Arts in one powerful experience for youth ages 7 to 18. Created by Iron Fist Martial Arts & Sports in partnership with Black Film Space Manitoba, this groundbreaking 9-month initiative is designed to help kids grow physically, mentally, and emotionally through a unique combination of competitive team sports and traditional martial arts training. This isn't just after-school programming, it’s a transformational experience that buildsconfidence, focus, leadership, and resilience. Through weekly sessions, tournaments, belt tests, mentorship, and progress tracking, students will sharpen their athletic performance while also developing life skills that last well beyond the gym or court.

Why This Dual Program Matters

While other youth programs offer either sports or martial arts, this is the first in North America to offer both in a single, integrated format. We believe in raising well- rounded youth who are not only strong and skilled, but also disciplined, respectful, and ready to lead.
