Black Film Space Manitoba is a Manitoba-based film production company headquartered in Winnipeg with international reach. We are a Black-owned business, committed to diversifying the talent pool within Manitoba’s film and music industries. Led by industry veterans with global experience in film and with music credits – we are committed to creating inclusive and sustainable employment opportunities.
New team members will receive training and mentorship to develop industry-required skill sets and identify a career path. Industry training will include a combination of courses – and equipment specific training through our suppliers. On each project, we will pair interns with key department heads to learn from their experience and gain perspective on different aspects of the business.

- Feature Film titled “Cool Sweepings” in development 2026-27
- CBC Documentary titled “Relationship Remix is now Streaming on CBC Gem 2025
- Kung Fu & Basketball Feature Film in development 2025
- Contribute to the recording and production of the Relationship Remix 8-track, album featuring various artists, now released in 2025.
- Happy Holidays Battle Season Cartoon now in development 2025
- Cell Phone Girls Cartoon now in development 2025
- Ignition Feature Film in development 2025
- Black Imagination Film Set Program 2025
